The usual support deck... with a twist! Now with even more quest power, and the Eowyn once-a-game destruction. Some new weird stuff...
- Favor of the Valar is VERY necessary for the other deck, and probably this one too.
- Steward of Gondor, Dwarven Shield, King Under the Mountain, Magic Ring are all for Gimli, and some Cram and Lembas wouldn't hurt either. That's why Well-Equipped. Various other things can be dumped onto Nori if they happen to come up...
- Like, Defender of the West, which goes VERY well on Beechbone or Beorn especially, but maybe some other people instead. (Like Nori?)
Having trouble finding enough Reds and Greens and Neutrals to play, I threw in a few random things, that are all really unnecessary...
- Born Aloft is for Galadriel. Or Elrond?
- Keeping Count most likely for Legolas and Erestor.
- Henamarth Riversong is just cheap quest power.
- Erebor Hammersmith could grab a key attachment, or recycle Cram or Lembas. (Or Secret Vigil? Explorer's Almanac?)
- Thorongil is a good choice for Legolas or Éowyn, or a not-terrible choice for Gimli. But it IS a terrible choice for Denethor.

Jan 27, 2022This deck is not going to have the resources to play a Gandalf. Erestor doesn't play well with expensive cards, or Sneak Attacks, or any combo that needs two cards in hand at the same time (like Sneak Attack). All the expensive cards here are Noldor, to play with To the Sea, to the Sea!, and even that is tricky to pull off at the right time. |
Jan 27, 2022gandalf is neutral, so you only need 1 res from last round and you can play him. or if the Magic Ring is in play it can be done without. there are 2 Silver Harp why not use it on gandalf or sneack to get the combo? |
Why no Thorongil on Denethor? His scrying's good.
