- Intro -

This is a surprisingly powerful hobbit deck featuring Into the West. It represents Frodo's journey to Valinor, leaving behind his Shirefolk friends. The contract has many good targets such as Gandalf, Sam Gamgee, Halfast Gamgee, and Hobo Aragorn. All the hobbit allies entering play for only a turn receive the benefit of Tom Cotton.

- Questing -

Frodo Baggins and Merry always quests. His ability can ready Merry until you get out a solid unique ally such as Rosie Cotton. Halfast Gamgee and Sam Gamgee supply willpower later on. Red Book of Westmarch can provide global willpower boosts.

- Combat -

Tom Cotton is obviously the main defender (I forgot to add Hobbit Cloak). Allies boosted by Tom Cotton (Primarily Farmer Maggot) are the attackers. Since this is a hobbit secrecy deck, combat is obviously not the main strength.

- Engines -

There is a bunch of resource acceleration. Resourceful and Red Book of Westmarch are both very helpful, but Into the West is the main source of resources. Keen as Lances, Odo Proudfoot, and Gandalf provide decent card draw.

- Other -

There is no healing or cancelation. The Shirefolk, Merry, A Lesson in Caution, and Frodo Baggins help you stay in secrecy for the entire game.

- Tricks -

-Use A Good Harvest to buy Red Book of Westmarch on the first turn

-After a costly hobbit leaves play from Into the West, use a free There and Back Again to bring a second copy back into play

-Once five allies have sailed to Valinor, play Keen as Lances to draw 3 cards for free

-Use Timely Aid to play Gandalf for just one resource

-Trigger Frodo's ability on Gandalf for a second use of the mighty Istari

-Place all resource accelerating attachments on Frodo Baggins to help buy all the cards.

-Buy Sam for one resource and let him sail away to give you three back
