This deck was built mostly from the Gondor and Rohan starter decks using Lothíriel as a way to bring ally's in and out of play to trigger Éomer and Prince Imrahil abilties. I find the synergy extremely strong, especially early in the quest because it allows you to use Prince Imrahil for questing as well as defending, which basically makes him a free Aragorn but without the sentinel. It also gives Éomer 5 attack which allows you to focus on attachments for Prince Imrahil to beef him up into a big blocker or play some allies for questing but still being lethal for most low engagement enemies.

To start I like to mulligan for a Gondorian Shield in my starting hand to turn Prince Imrahil into a decent defender as well as some allies that I can bring in and out of play using Lothíriel.

Using Ancient Mathom, Valiant Sacrifice and Horn of the Mark gives this deck decent card draw on it's own. The allies Squire of the Citadel and Envoy of Pelargir help to generate resources even without Steward of Gondor and allow you to give resources to just about any hero in the game depending on who needs it.

I'm still constantly editing the deck as I'm still sorting out which attachments are the most useful and which allies are good for playing out of hand or synergize well with Lothíriel.

This deck is missing healing and sentinel so having a support deck with some lore cards works really well with it as well as heroes and allies with the Gondor, Rohan or Noble traits.

I've been wanting to build a deck to play alongside it with Dúnhere for some staging area attacks and potentially Denethor or Aragorn for a defender with A Burning Brand but I haven't gotten around to it and so far I've been successful enough with my generic support deck that I've been playing two handed with this deck.

Edit Jan. 7: Removed 2x Citadel Plate - felt I never needed the extra HP points with the healing from a support deck and the armour given from Gondorian Shield, not to mention how expensive this card is with only 1 Tactics hero.

Removed 2x Silverlode Archer - this ally doesn't synergize with Lothíriel and frankly not worth the 3 cost.

Removed 2x Behind Strong Walls - I found Prince Imrahil was almost always ready to be able to defend so wasn't necessary and the card mostly sat in my hand.

Removed 2x The Galadhrim's Greeting - I found I was not using these often enough to be necessary with Gandalf and Sneak Attack.

Added 1x Visionary Leadership - a lot of my characters are Gondor so may be helpful?

Added 1x Dúnedain Signal - For Prince Imrahil as he is my primary defender.

Added 1x Unexpected Courage - Wanted to increase draw chance.

Added 1x Elfhelm - I wanted to try just having this ally instead of The Galadhrim's Greeting as Gandalf is my main source of threat reduction and it's not usually a huge issue.

Added 2x Rider of the Mark - Thought this might help deal with my shadow card issue as I don't A Burning Brand or Hasty Stroke and it's a Rohan questing ally.
