Try to mulligan for Elf-friend. The first copy should be attached to Boromir which makes him a possible target for Andúril, Cloak of Lórien, Mirkwood Long-knife, Elven Mail, Relic of Nargothrond or Rivendell Blade.

Play at least two restricted attachments on your heroes as fast as you can, so that you can flip Forth, The Three Hunters!. The healing action on its Side B gets very effective with Elrond's ability.

Since all your heroes have the 'Noble' trait, you can attach Shining Shield and Valiant Sword to any of them.

Bard son of Brand is your primary target for Silver Circlet, Celebrían's Stone, Windfola or Steed of Imladris (with a Golden Belt attached, even all four attachments can be put on him) and should be questing every round. He can pay for all the cards in your deck except for the events.

With Light of Valinor / Unexpected Courage, A Burning Brand, a Cloak of Lórien and some other attachments (that power up his or ) attached, Elrond can quest and defend or even fight back, whereas Boromir is the ultimate weapon of this deck, being a good defender and attacker (and later on even quester, if the contract is flipped) with in-built readying, when provided with some weapons and armor.

Each game feels a little bit different, because of various combinations of restricted attachments, especially on Boromir and Elrond. In an orc-heavy quest you could switch the Dagger of Westernesse with the Blade of Gondolin (from the sideboard).

This deck covers most aspects of the game:

Fun fact: All three heroes have a second abilty, but can't really use it to good effect in this deck.

  • Elrond's passive abilty is not needed, since you have no allies
  • You really don't want to use Boromir's second action and discard him, unless it is your last way out and maybe wins you the game
  • Bard's 'Response' will only be needed in multiplayer games.

Speaking of multiplayer: You might want to switch Elven Mail with Tireless Thoroughbred from the sideboard (and attach it to Boromir) for that purpose. Later in the game you tend to pile up a good amount of resources, so it would be an idea if your partner-deck provides your heroes with copies of Song of Hope or lets you pay for effects like Bifur or Wilyador.
