PablOvi 536
This deck features Arwen, Galadriel, and Na’asiyah working together for a smooth and rewarding Noldor experience. It’s all about readying, resource smoothing, and making friends along the way.
This is almost the same deck as the previous version. I just removed the Veteran Sword-elves since they always ended up in my discard pile every game.
I filled the gap with Sailor of Lune to add extra synergy with Elven-light.
Heroes
- Silver Harp x2
- Noldor Catalyst: Fuels Na’asiyah’s action, provides resources, and keeps our hand full with harp recursion.
- Nenya + To the Sea, to the Sea! + Unexpected Courage
- Noldor Queen: Provides non-exhaustion for questing, card draw, and flexible resource smoothing for Lore and Spirit allies.
- Elf-friend + Bow of Yew x2 + Unexpected Courage x2
- Corsair Champion: Our main attacker and defender, able to ready multiple times and swing for huge damage with the right setup.
Mulligan & Setup
Mulligan for Nenya if we need to quest hard, or Unexpected Courage if we expect a nasty enemy early.
Strategy & Card Interactions
Na’asiyah’s Engine:
Use Arwen Undómiel and Elf-friend to fuel Na'asiyah's action. After a few turns, she becomes our main attacker and defender, especially with multiple Unexpected Courage and Bow of Yew attachments.
With two Bows of Yew on Na'asiyah, we can play two Foe-hammers by killing just one enemy. However, if we want to use Foe-hammer, we cannot use the bow’s response in that attack.
Attachment Priorities:
A third Silver Harp can be played on Galadriel for extra recursion.
A third Bow of Yew is best on Glorfindel or Veteran Sword-elf (see sideboard).
Ally Play and Recursion:
Stand and Fight is the only way to play Veteran Sword-elf, but Lore allies can also be played with Nenya.
Silver Harp can act as Glorfindel's own Unexpected Courage, letting us ready him up to three times per round (once per phase) with just one card in hand.
Elven-lights are also a powerful discard to make Sailor of Lune indestructible in every questing phase.
Keeping Arwen Safe:
Unless we have Hasty Stroke in hand, avoid using Arwen Undómiel for defense.
Action Efficiency:
This deck does not have many allies, which is its main weakness. However, we have several tricks to mitigate this issue:
- Galadriel's non-exhaustion bonus for allies
- Multiple uses of Na'asiyah with Unexpected Courage
- Glorfindel's synergy with the Silver Harps
- Occasional extra actions from Elladan and Elrohir responses
Sideboard
- If we do not find Nenya or Unexpected Courage early, Gather Information can help us fetch whichever one we need most.
- Feint is probably a better option than Hasty Stroke, but I prefer to save every resource for Na'asiyah.
- Veteran Sword-elves were originally in the deck, but I rarely used them for anything other than discarding cards. They have been replaced by Sailor of Lune for more consistent willpower and synergy with Elven-light.
- Lords of the Eldar or Will of the West could be nice additions, since I usually run out of cards by the end-game.
In summary: This Noldor deck is all about action advantage, resource smoothing, and making every card count. Mulligan for our key attachments, use Arwen and Galadriel to fuel Na’asiyah, and let our heroes handle any challenge with powerful combos and constant readying!
