Fun and effective support deck with 0 allies, as this team is made to run light on its feet and snipe from afar.

NOTE: Due to catch by AloneWolf, drop 2 Snowmanes and add 3rd Unexpected Courage and Magic Ring.

What: Haldir one-shots enemies before they attack, but without Steward and Gondorian Fire because... that's boring. Shines best with other deck(s) with sentinel defender(s).

Goal: Arm Haldir quickly. Max with 2x Bow of the Galadhrim, 1x Rivendell Bow, and 3x Dúnedain Mark for 11 . Black Arrow and Unseen Strike are temp buffs as needed, and don't forget Hands Upon the Bow adds +1 .

How: To avoid enemies and remain in shadow, Haldir is paired with low threat heroes (20 starting threat) and threat reducers: Elrond's Counsel and Double Back. Ideally, Éowyn never has to add +3 threat, but can if needed.

Cheap Deck: Total of all cards you'd play is only 32, with most costing 1, and 16 costing 0. Haldir has least to pay, so he pays for most neutrals and gets Song of Kings for Dúnedain Marks. (Have Éowyn pay for neutral card or two to even out spending.)

With Strider, generate 11 . For draw, uses Peace and Thought, Daeron's Runes, Deep Knowledge, Foe-hammer, and Open the Armory.

Goal is to draw fast and play fast, so unless I get a great draw to buff Haldir instantly, I mulligan for Peace and Thought.

If enemies engage you and other deck sentinels aren't ready, you've 3x Feint and 2x Hands Upon the Bow for after staging when needed. But that's it, so protect your flank! (Or add Snowmane, Golden Shield and/or Coney in a Traps for more peace of mind.)

Sideboard has some alternatives, but as it stands, I've really enjoyed it's "run and cover" vibe when paired with a sentinel deck.

What do you mean by the fact that cards like Wingfoot, Light of Valinor and Snowmane make Peace, and Thought viable? You can only play Peace, and Thought after the "refresh exhausted characters" part of the Refresh Phase so the heroes will still be exhausted come the next round

My bad. I've been playing Peace and Thought before refreshed chars so been doing it wrong. :p So there's no reason for Snowmane unless I add Golden Shield. So I'd drop the 2 Snowmane, and add a 3rd Unexpected Courage and Magic Ring to help with Peace and Thought. Good catch!

Surprized you didn't include Rivendell Blade. I know it will possibly be a dud (considering what else you've got), but given how central Haldir of Lórien is to the deck I would say it's worth it.

You can discard the spare ones to Daeron's Runes, or use them to beef up Glorfindel in combo with the second Rivendell Bow.

For Haldir's 2 restricted attachments, I much prefer Bow of the Galadhrim, but if you want to include Glorfindel in more combat, you can squeeze them in.

When it will come out you might want to include the new Tactics event Swift and Strong

this is definitely a three hunters deck
