love the use of Oath of Eorl. I would add some more allies though, to get maximum use out of Hirgon. Guthlaf is only ok, not 3x. I would add Westfold Lancer and Grimbold for more willpower. There are also a ton of expensive 4-5 cost allies that would be fantastic here. Allies like Legolas, Boromir, Yazan, Defender of Cair Andros, even Beorn. (IDk if you're going for theme or not).

As for the events, I would cut Tireless Hunters and Charge of the Rohirrim. The former isn't necessary, and you only have one mount attachment, so the latter wouldn't work. why hidden cache??? add in 3x Thicket of Spears it's fantastic for mono . I would honestly go the valor route and get crazy with Hour of Wrath, Horn's Cry, etc. especially b/c Hiring has a built in threat raise ability, valor would be sop good.

Honestly, I would cut Mablung entirely and swap for Éowyn. With that kind of quest power from your heroes, you could leave the defending to your big allies (Defender of Cair Andros!) and stack up Théoden with a bunch of weapons. that would be a much better deck or solo play, and would kick ass

Thank you for all the suggestions and overall advice! This is my first time trying to make a deck, so this is all super helpful! For Hidden Cache I was worried about card draw so put that there. I think adding Eowyn is a great shout, will definitely do that! I don't have all the cards mentioned just yet, but I will try out the changes on dragoncards.

What kind of weapons would you suggest for Theoden?

yeah I wasn't sure what cards you had but you're good. War axe is as good a weapon as you can get, but depending on what you have, you could use Dagger of Westernesse, Spear of the Mark, Warrior Sword, and others.

For mono- card draw, look to Foe-hammer, Legolas, Gandalf, Keen as Lances, and (especially) Steward of Orthanc, given you have 23x events. Fetch cards like Open the Armory can help, too, and if you do swap in TaÉowyn for Mablung, then Need Brooks No Delay is amazing (if you're using ALeP cards).
