I made this deck because I have never used Na'asiyah or Grappling Hook before. I tested it against The Redhorn Gate and it was surprisingly fun.

Important Mounts:

Most of the mounts go on specific heroes in order to make the best use of Elfhelm's boost. These are the mounts to prioritize when using Westfold Horse-breeder:

Other Attachments:

  • Because Arod isn't restricted, Na'asiyah also gets Horn of Gondor and Grappling Hook if necessary.
  • Na'asiyah also gets Unexpected Courage because she can use her ability when both defending and attacking.
  • The Rohan Warhorses were added for redundancy to get Elfhelm's boost in case I didn't draw the important mounts, but I didn't realize until I played the deck solo that they aren't that great in solo when you can get away with dealing with only 1 enemy at a time. Also, as it turned out, enough deck searching and card draw came up that finding the important ones turned out not to be a problem.

Allies:

  • You may wonder why I chose the allies I chose if most of them have no synergy with the heroes. The answer is that the allies in this deck are purely here to quest and to chump block while Na'asiyah and Elfhelm take care of all the combat. Keen-eyed Took is specifically here not because of his ability but because I have never used Keen-Eyed Took in a deck before this; although his ability is a little bit fun to use. This deck takes advantage of chump blocking with allies via Horn of Gondor and Valiant Sacrifice.
  • Dúnedain Hunter is specifically here because I'm taking advantage of the fact that while it is a ally and Na'asiyah can't spend her resources on allies, you don't need to spend resources on Dúnedain Hunder ;) Also this deck can certainly deal with the extra enemy that comes out.

Sideboard:

  • Arwen Undómiel is in the sideboard because you get an objective-ally version of her in The Redhorn Gate, which is the first scenario that I tested this deck against.
  • Song of Kings and Song of Travel are in the sideboard because I've been thinking of putting them in so that Elfhelm can get +1 with Snowmane and Na'asiyah can get +1 , but I haven't decided what to swap out yet.

Other Notes:

  • In my one test game, neither Grappling Hook nor Rohan Warhorse came out. I didn't need Grappling Hook because I had questing easily taken care of (Éowyn with Windfola could quest for 6 and Elfhelm with Snowmane could ready after questing successfully); and I was able to get all my important mounts out before playing Rohan Warhorse so they were simply not necessary that game.
  • I left out Steward of Gondor on purpose because most of the cards in this deck cost 2 or less.

9 wp (from Éowyn and Elfhelm ) is enough to finish? i think you choose a relatevely easy szenario to test. in harder ones you might need more to win. in other quests u will have Arwen Undómiel thats a start, would replace the Curious Brandybuck with Galadriel's Handmaiden and try not to chump the Westfold Horse-breeder and then you may be fine.

adding Captain's Wisdom could be a posibility to go faster (only eowyn can use it, but if using my proposals you need spiritres. pay for a Miruvor and she refresh and get the res back, so she can quest the same round.

would perhaps consider to replace 1-2 Grappling Hook with Cram (specially if you include Captain's Wisdom )

Elfhelm and Na'asiyah seems to be a nice combo, even in original content. appriciate that.

@doomguard Ah yes that makes sense. I know I chose an easy quest but I didn't expect this deck to be able to beat harder ones lol. And I should clarify that I did often quest with my allies in addition to my heroes and left just 1 or 2 allies up for chump blockers, and that worked out really well, especially in solo when usually only 1 enemy was in play at a time.

Also I don't actually own Galadriel's Handmaiden

(Continuation of my previous comment because it got cut off)

but I do own Miruvor and Cram and I agree that those are good ideas to add in.

the Galadriel's Handmaiden are revco (elves of lorien) but very similar are West Road Traveller or Ethir Swordsman in ld Merry makes sense for questing

@doomguard Ah right. I do plan on picking up the revco starter decks eventually but for now I'm collecting whatever I can find, and my LGS just so happened to have The Voice of Isengard, The Dunland Trap and The Three Trials in stock (which is how I got my mounts and Naith Guides in this deck). For now I'm enjoying going up against low-power quests with this deck but I do know some of my choices are suboptimal lol.

And thank you for the compliment on my Elfhelm and Na'asiyah combo :)
