This Aragorn is legit incredible. Definitely the best The Grey Wanderer hero and maybe just the best of the game.
Here he can start with Elessar AND Estel. So we have 2 Heed the Dream for free and no card every turn. With Elven-light we draw everything we want very fast.
At the beginning we want resources so we are looking for Steward of Gondor, Resourceful and Captain's Wisdom. Captain's Wisdom is very effective here because we will ready Aragorn thanks to the contract. With all these cards we can have 1 + 2 (contract) + 2 (steward) + 3 (resourceful) + 2 (Captain's Wisdom) : 10 resources / turn. (and we have A Lesson in Caution too)
With Estel and Elven-light we have a ton of cards draw too.
Aragorn is broken thanks to his stuff too : Sword that was Broken, Thorongil, which permit to have fun with Gandalf.
I love to play this Gandalf and here he has his stuff too : Narya, Gandalf's Staff, Shadowfax and a shadowfax's friend : Wild Stallion :D
So he is a 5/5/5/5, questing without exhausting and can be ready + boosted by Narya. Threat is obviously not a problem starting at 12 and with Thorongil.
Aragorn on the other hand is a 3/4/4/9 hp thanks to Andúril, Inner Strength and Ring of Barahir.
Rest is classic, just best allies of the game. We can play ones thanks to Thorongil and Ring of Barahir. We can have them with Timely Aid too, which is good to have in starting hand.
I really appreciate Rammas Sentry in this deck, they bring a nice attack and the response is easy to trigger with only one hero :)
This deck can't beat every scenario of the game (hello Dol Guldur for exemple) but rule most of them very easily.
Enjoy !
Really cool! Have to try it out sometime.
