The Treason of Saruman

o.k. now i see the whole fellowship, i have some suggestions:

first, why not using Steward of Gondor? its not less thematic, than eagles at helms deep (would put it on eowyn) then i would put the red cards all to the gimli-deck, it makes it easier basicially the elfhelmdeck will defend and the gimlideck will strike, so more ranged should be done because there is no sentinel. it is not effective to play "a litle bit" of eagles. full or not (beside perhaps the cheap for chump etc.)

so, my version, keeping these heroes would be:

elfhelm, out:

• all tacticcards (keep song of battle, its good for eowyn and for elfhelmbonus) = 6 cards
• 2 Imladris Stargazer do you really ned them? what for? 2 cards
• all green cards, you need Song of Wisdom first and you have only 2 so i think about 50% they are dead cards = 6 cards

result 14 cards you can take:

• 3 Burst into Song
• 3 Song of Hope
• 3 Gandalf
• 3 Sneak Attack (these can also be used by Westfold Horse-breeder to get horses faster, sneack in res-phase, play her in planning)
• 2 more songs or Steward of Gondor

gimlideck:

out:

• all eagles + born aloft + Radagast = 17 cards
• 2 Lórien Guide
• 2 Watcher of the Bruinen
• 2 Goblin-cleaver (its not great against enemys with toughness, else keep it, but not in helms deep)

result out: 23 cards

in:

• 2 Northern Tracker (if playing the steward on Éowyn you can play them easily

• 3 Rohan Warhorse

• 3 Tireless Thoroughbred this is THIS horse for Gimli

• 1 Vigilant Guard THIS non restricted attachment for Gimli

• 1-3 Thorongil great on gimli or legolas, specially with a horse+elfhelm, i would take 3 but i am addicted to this card

• 3 Foe-hammer

• 3 Dagger of Westernesse

• if you have more than 3 add additional Westfold Horse-breeder

• +1 Feint (nearly best tacticcard in the game)

fill the remaining slots with good allies:

• 3 Galadhon Archer (they can use the Rivendell Blade too if Legolas is full)
• more Unexpected Courage or
• either Winged Guardian or tactic-rohanallies like Westfold Outrider, Westfold Lancer, Grimbold,... Pippin is also good

if you (whyever... ;) ) want to remain on your half-eagle-half-inefficient way, replace at least the Lórien Guide with Northern Tracker and discard the Watcher of the Bruinen and add 3rd The Eagles Are Coming! and 3rd Feint try to include Foe-hammer and Tireless Thoroughbred and/or Vigilant Guard for gimli.

no matter how you will modify your deck consider Éowyn and Legolas same spheres but imo more effective abilities (and you can thorongil gimli ;) )

in my suggestions above i forgot 1 Golden Shield in the tacticdeck.
