Pure Series #2:

I realized that my original Pure Series has become out of date, so I've remade many (if not all) of my decks.

This is a series of about 10 decks that I made that don’t share any cards with each other. Meaning I can only use Steward of Gondor in one of my 10 decks. This forces me to use different methods of card draw and resource generation.

I only use heroes that fit the theme or archetype of the deck.

I do include different cards of the same unique character in different decks. (Ex. Haldir of Lórien hero in my Scout deck and Haldir of Lórien ally in my Silvan deck.)

Dwarf Deck:

This deck is a non-solo deck because it has a slow start until it hits 5 dwarves. Usually you have to wait until turn 3 and then BOOM, dwarves explode onto the board

One of the best decks I have. A classic build up your dwarf army, then crush the encounter deck.

Objective #1: Get 5 dwarves into play ASAP.

  • With 1 copy of Kili or Fili.
  • Or 2 copies of any other dwarf.

Objective #2: Some sort of card draw

This shouldn't be too much of a problem because we have plenty of card draw in this deck (King Under the Mountain, Bifur, Daeron's Runes, Legacy of Durin).

One combo that I love using is We Are Not Idle, then Lure of Moria.

  • Exhaust all the dwarf characters you own on We Are Not Idle, then place all the resources onto Dain Ironfoot (you can place the resources on a different hero if you already have 3 on Dain).
  • Use 3 of those coins in order to play Lure of Moria and ready all the characters you exhausted. A Good Harvest is perfect right after this combo, but can be used whenever needed.

I include Ered Luin Miner and Hidden Cache in hopes that they will be discarded by Ered Nimrais Prospector, Zigil Miner, Erebor Guard, or A Very Good Tale.

Your questing comes from Dáin Ironfoot and your dwarf army. So Dáin Ironfoot is always ready. Your main attackers are Erebor Battle Master, by the end of the game they will usually have at least 10+ attack each, if you don’t have one out you can chump block with a dwarf and use Dain’s ability + a few dwarves to kill an enemy.

I've got Hardy Leadership on the sideboard in case you are facing an Archery/Direct damage quest.
