Éowyn stands alone, fully decked out in Tactics gear and ready to quest, defend, and strike back... all in a single round. This is my build proposal for a true “all-red” experience.

Éowyn

Mulligan & Setup

Most of the time, Strider will be the first pick for our Wander Woman. In scenarios like Peril in Pelargir, where early engaged enemies are likely, Golden Shield is a better option.

If we can get both attachments early, Éowyn will quest for 6 without exhausting, then defend for 7 , and then (with the contract or her own ability) be ready to attack as well.

If we can have 2 or 3 allies in the opening hand, our lives will be much easier. Early board presence relieves some pressure on the deck and gives us more options for both questing and combat.

Strategy & Card Interactions

Attachment Management:
The War Axe should be the third restricted item attached to Éowyn. Wait for Golden Belt, or attach it to an ally like Azain, Legolas, or Yazan if needed.

The second Spear of the Citadel can go to Boromir or Guthlaf. Guthlaf is probably the least useful ally, but also the cheapest (along with Pippin).

Card Draw and Deck Thinning:
Card draw is the major weakness of this deck. Use Gandalf's response and Open the Armory to thin our deck and find a weapon as much as possible. Bofur and Legolas abilities are also useful for this.

Once we have the Spear or Axe on Éowyn, Foe-hammer will do the work.

We want every draw to be valuable. Dead cards are not an option here, and that's the main reason for avoiding any duplicates other than Gandalf.

Quest and Resist:
Wait no Longer is probably the best advantage we can get in the quest phase. Use it wisely and don’t pay attention to its name. If we can get Strider and Golden Shield early, Éowyn can handle every phase of the round on her own.

Combat Tricks and Safety Nets:
If we are not comfortable risking Éowyn for a particular encounter, she has been practicing tricks like Feint, Quick Strike, or Sterner than Steel. Use them wisely to avoid nasty enemy strikes and keep Éowyn safe for the next round.

Unseen Strike can be the boost we need if we are not yet a real threat in that enemy’s eyes. It’s perfect for surprising tough foes when Éowyn’s attack alone isn’t enough.

Boromir's defense and Grimbold's cancellation abilities are also two good picks in these scenarios, giving us even more ways to handle dangerous enemies without putting Éowyn at risk.

Secrecy No More:
We don’t have many options to keep our threat low once we start to lose secrecy. Gandalf and Secret Vigil are our only real chances. Make sure our engine is already running before we reach this point, so we’re ready to handle whatever comes next.

Sideboard

  • Legolas is a great card to see, since his ability is a game changer for this deck.
    • If I had to include three copies of an ally, he would be the chosen one.
  • Born Aloft could be a useful alternative for "healing" allies.

Disclaimer:
I know I could include some off-sphere cards, since the contract allows us to do so, but that's not what I've been looking for here.
Having an all-red deck with only unique allies was my main idea behind the scenes... a sort of sequel to the green deck I made some time ago.

In summary: This deck is all about solo Tactics Éowyn, unique allies, and a true “Lady in Red” experience. Mulligan for our key attachments and a few brave companions, use every draw wisely, and let Éowyn face every challenge with courage and strength.

Just saw this as a deck someone played for QOTR (on Vision of the Palantir), and I just took it for a spin--what a fun deck.

Hey @Doc_H, glad to see you enjoyed it. I really appreciate your comment. :)

would replace Spear of the Citadel with Dagger of Westernesse or add Gondorian Spearman for the possibility to kill 2 hp enemies.

@doomguard Thanks! Will take the Dagger of Westernesse into consideration. Honestly, I don't remember why I included the Spear... I suppose I liked the idea of getting some direct damage as a bonus when exhausting Éowyn for defense.
