Alatar and Aragorn (with Elessar) start out with smooth access to three spheres (, , and ) and gain access to no later than turn 4 thanks to the flip of At the End of All Things to grab Thorongil + Aragorn or Ring of Barahir.

Card draw provided by Prepare for Battle (fetch with Blue Staff or Gather Information) and maybe Sneak Attack + Gandalf.

Resource acceleration is limited, but the contract flip, Seasoned Forager (after the flip), and Smoke and Think can be used to help with whatever "big card" you need in the moment -- Northern Tracker, Faramir, Sword that was Broken, Thalion, or a beefy Word of Persuasion.

Threat reduction with Double Back, Loragorn, and Gandalf.

Shadow control with Bree-land Protector.

Defense is covered by Aragorn + Gondorian Shield or Defender of Rammas/Grey Companion + Elessar.

This is very much a "toolkit" deck with lots of potential solutions to whatever the encounter deck might throw at you. The extra stats and readying provided by the contract on two already strong heroes (plus the built-in threat mitigation of Blue Staff) allow the deck time to build up.

I misread At the End of All Things -- it only counts printed spheres, which completely negates any value of NeuAragorn with this contract. Again, I want to love this contract, but it has SO MANY RESTRICTIONS.

I'll have to rethink this deck with a classic Aragorn, though which one is tricky.

I really like your deck. I think it will work best with a Leadership Aragorn based on your cost curve, and the turn 4 flip should more than make up for the oddities of the contract!

beware of the hilltroll with startingthread of 32 ;) perhaps Vanish from Sight is an option (with the A Elbereth! Gilthoniel! -trick) but i do not know if it is easy to achieve with this deck and draw.

a boon of Aragorn is he is noble, so the Envoy of Pelargir work for him (is not attachement, so you get that res)

@Ipswatch and @doomguard Good points -- I think that a LeAragorn combo is the best way to go. It also opens up Captain's Wisdom right out of the gate. I completely forgot about Vanish from Sight. It's an option, possibly even with the A Elbereth! Gilthoniel! combo, but needs testing to see if it's worth it.
