• in the long run you can gain up to 6 permanent defenses (Unexpected Courage and Armored Destrier + about 10 one-time-defenses

• after contract is flipped you have healing and could quest if needed f or that the Onward Into Battle can help.

if you do not want t play with Beyond the Original Bargain replace Jubayr with Grimbeorn the Old and make Beregond his spirit-version Beregond this version might be overall better for some szenarios, but has 1 less from the start shadowcancelling
