This deck is part of a 4-player fellowship to be played against the Battle of the Pelennor Fields outside of campaign-mode.
It is made with a limited card-pool: 3 Cores: Conflict at the Carrock, Return to Mirkwood; Khazad-Dum: Watcher in the Water, Foundations of Stone; Heirs of Numenor: Stewards Fear, Morgule Vale; Lost Realm: Treachery of Rhudaur, Battle of Carn Dûm; Grey Havens: Flight of the Stormcaller, Thing in the Depths; Hobbit 1-2, LotR Saga 1-6
How it's played: Mulligan for Resourceful and it usually goes on Pippin. If you don't draw it at first let Beravor give you cards until you have it and maybe reduce your threat using Wandering Took, Gandalf (maybe palyed via Reinforcements) or by letting Beregond block for you.
The allies are self-explanatory. Most of them are for questing... Eventually you can take on some enemies for card draw and let Beregond or a Gondorian Spearman block for you or maybe even block them with Fatty Bolger. You can also use Barliman Butterbur or Prince Imrahil and leave them undefended.
Fatty Bolger can also be used against the high enemies such as the Wraith on Wings later in the game. Pippin goes questing. Merry quests for 3 from the start thanks to Théoden. He can also eventually receive a Dagger of Westernesse and take some enemies.
Keep a -resource around if you have A Test of Will to cancle The Rammas is Breached. Expecting Mischief is a great card in a 4-player set-up, especially early in the game. Hasty Stroke is almost exclusivly reserved for Dread and Despair. The Long Defeat is a great card in this quest and will help with card-draw or archery-damage across the board.
