The King and the Stewards - Thematic (but effective) Gondor

This is the Gondor Fellowship I've used to beat Harad Cycle - Two handed. I wanted to create a couple of decks which are thematic, but also capable to win the cycle.

Deck 1

Aragorn, Beregond, Denethor is a gondor swarm ally deck:

• Sword that was Broken and Steward of Gondor are for Aragorn
• Unexpected Courage The Day's Rising and Armored Destrier are for Beregond, as Gondorian Shield from the other deck.
• Visionary Leadership will depend on the board state, usually on Aragorn or Beregond or Boromir eventually.
• Denethor will splash resources to every other hero.
• Long Lake Fisherman will help to fetch 2 cost cards (which are in huge number), and Northern Tracker will help in case of location lock.
• Steed of the North are for Faramir and Damrod.

Mulligan for the three key attachments of the deck: Steward of Gondor, Visionary Leadership or Sword that was Broken.

Deck 2

Faramir, Damrod, Boromir is a trap deck:

• the key is to attach Followed and Forest Snare to a high threat enemy and then quest with Emyn Arnen Ranger: once you have a couple of them, plus the swarm from the other deck, toghether with Visionary Leadership, Willpower will not be an issue.
• Boromir is the main attacker with Captain of Gondor, Warrior Sword, War Axe and Beregond is the main defender, controlling threat.

The deck has some option to scry, which I found to be very useful in many quests.

Dúnedain Pipe is for Aragorn and Heed the Dream will help the other deck to fetch key cards.

Mulligan for Gondorian Shield or good traps, depending on the quest (always keep Forest Snare and Followed if you have both in hand)

General

In general, do not be afraid to increase your threat (doomed keyword, Boromir), because valour value will help Deck 1: Beregond and Secret Vigil will help once you reach high value. Sideboard is for some specific quest ( Reforged is for attachment you discard with A Very Good Tale or for traps), but I found that the two decks can face all the quest from haradrim cycle. Try to engage as meny enemies that you can with the Deck 2: Boromir and Faramir will kill and Armored Destrier Beregond will defend.
