No defense, no attack, only questing and killing

Kaspatou 724

Description

The idea of this fellowship is to maximise direct damage to ennemies, so we don't need any defense or attack.

We have everyturn : Thalin + Hey Dol! Merry Dol! + Gondorian Spearman + Spear of the Citadel + (MotK) Anborn + Ranger Bow -> all ennemies with 7HP or less are insta dead.

We have other songs or Goblin-cleaver for more damage.

If we have immune ennemies (our deck doesn't like them), we still have more classic stuff : Gandalf + Sneak Attack, Rosie Cotton boosting Sam Gamgee, Treebeard, Quickbeam, Wilyador, Angbor the Fearless...

The hobbit/Menestrel deck will quest very hard with Fireside Song on Tom Bombadil and 13 songs. -> 26 potential. All allies quest well too.

We have a ton of draw : Deep Knowledge, Gléowine with Fast Hitch, Beravor, Rivendell Minstrel, Galadhrim Minstrel, An Unexpected Party, 3 Hobbit Pipe with Hey Dol! Merry Dol!, Daeron's Runes, Foe-hammer...

These decks cost nothing and we have Legacy of Númenor + The Seeing-stone to go fast.

If we really need some defense we have Song of Slumber and Feint.

Enjoy !

Thank you Whisp ! It's my first deck which play this mechanic, do you have a suggestion? :)

Great concept, left a like and star :)! One thing I would consider adding (especially since you run The Seeing-stone anyways) is Reckless Attack, which I have found to be amazing for Direct Damage builds especially in higher player counts.

having Gondorian Spearman + Spear of the Citadel on board is a long way to go, Argalad could provide direct wounds from the start (i see u have him in the sideboard).

would in addition consider the Galadhon Archer

Bilbo Baggins is another option (perhaps better than (MotK) Anborn? )

Thank you Mormegil, it's an honour from a great deckbuilder like you ! I will play it with 2 players but yes it's still a very good option, thank you for your suggestion. I will do more test but maybe i will add a Double Back on the other deck if I go for Reckless Attack :)

@doomguard, i really wanted to play Argalad but he is sooo bad... exhaust him to not be sure to do one damage... Need some weapons... on other side Beravor is my love ! :D

For Bilbo Baggins i tested him recently, he is nice now with A Burglar Indeed! and guarded attachments but here i need leadership access and (MotK) Anborn do his job correctly. He can bring 3 attack to immunes too if needed. Galadhon Archer is a good idea, thank you !

Some adjustments : Add Anborn (i forgot him)

-3 Foe-hammer, it's not worth it since we don't kill ennemies with our attack.

-1 Feint

+2 Reckless Attack

+1 Galadhon Archer
