This is my fourth and best eagle deck. Questing will be slow at the beginning, but once you start pumping out allies it should be great. These Three Heroes work really well together, and allies should come cheap, especially after you get Radagast's Staff. Support of the Eagles goes on Gwaihir. The reason Hands Upon the Bow is in this deck is because you can get Gwaihir up to 234 just with Support of the Eagles and that is super helpful for enemies you don't wanna engage such as Carn Dûm Garrison. Sword-thain is for Landroval, if you are able to get it out. Gandalf and The Galadhrim's Greeting lower threat, so it's up to you if you wanna use Hirgon's threat raising part of his response.

Enjoy!

Personally, I'm not sure you need the Song of Kings-Steward of Gondor package; Radagast's Staff and Hirgon should give you plenty of cost reduction, and with Gwaihir and Radagast incentivizing you to drip-feed your Eagles into play building up a mountain of resources to drop multiple Eagles on one turn isn't as appealing as it might first sound. With Eagles' general combat prowess, I'd say they also make Dúnedain Warning unnecessary.

If you do end up cutting those cards, some suggestions for replacements I thought of; 3rd The Eagles Are Coming! (more card draw is always good), Meneldor's Flight into 2 more copies of Flight of the Eagles (since you aren't running recursion, the only difference between the two is that Flight of the Eagles provides you with the free ally shuffled into the encounter deck instead of just the bounce), 2 more Word of Commands (once again, card draw/search is good, especially when your deck is heavily reliant on having specific cards in place), as well as possibly some extra threat reduction.

Overall, the deck looks good, but there's still some refining that I think is possible.

if you go leadership, that i recommand Sneak Attack. specially with eagles. is not only good for gandalf its also good with Descendant of Thorondor or Meneldor. even if you need a cheap revive for 1 res Sneak Attack + Landroval is an option.

after using an eagle with Sneak Attack you can decide if taking back on hand or attach to an Eagles of the Misty Mountains (both trigger twice into play and out of)

Eagle of the North is not put in your deck (make it sideboard it is "set aside")

@AlasForCeleborn @doomguard how does this look?

I will be publishing it soon.

@nelloianiro In your unpublished deck do you think that Song of Travel is worth it for just 1 copy of Unexpected Courage and The Galadhrim's Greeting?

@GreenWizard yes. Unexpected Courage is amazing for Gwaihir and The Galadhrim's Greeting is really good, due to the high threat.

eagles +leadership, here is my version: ringsdb.com

you can play ld-cards from the start. hirgon is not so much of a deal i think, because questing succesfully is specially in the first rounds not very likely (maximum 6 willpower from heroes seems not enough for me)

thread reducing in my version is with gandalf (and perhapd sneack)

your version with much songs needs to much luck for my taste.

@nelloianiro, regarding the currently-unpublished version, I still see a few refinements that could be made:

  1. You don't have any way to play Dúnedain Warning, and thanks to Eagles' combat ability I think it would be better to cut instead of finding a way to play it.
  2. I'm not sure that only including one copy of The Galadhrim's Greeting and Unexpected Courage makes Song of Travel worth it. I understand that you may not have multiple Core Sets, at which point I would just recommend using proxies for the additional copies (for example, "including" two additional Unexpected Courages but using Power in the Earth to represent them). Even if you decide not to use proxies, though, I would add in the second The Galadhrim's Greeting for sure, just to make threat control more consistent.
  3. Once again, Meneldor's Flight is, without recursion, strictly worse than Flight of the Eagles, unless you're playing multiple Eagle decks and you need to bounce a friend's ally (a highly unlikely eventuality); if everything else in the deck stays the same (i.e., you don't cut anything else to make enough room to keep Meneldor's Flight), -2 Meneldor's Flight, +2 Flight of the Eagles. Flight of the Eagles is, unless multiple players are playing Eagles, objectively better then Meneldor's Flight.
  4. Beorn, Giant Bear, and Boromir feel a bit strange here. If you want my advice, I'd replace them with an additional copy of Descendant of Thorondor, Eagle Emissary, and Eagles of the Misty Mountains (the more Eagles in your deck, the stronger the Eagles of the Misty Mountains become).
