Grey Wanderer deck which abilities can be useful used from the very beginning without neglection. Strider (from the sideboard) is your attachment when you need a bit more early on or you want to relive your teammates. Exhaust Beravor to draw two cards, then use contract to ready Beravor and gain two resources. A start with 8 cards (plus Strider) and 3 resources. Quest for at least 4 and have 2 defense, just in case. Otherwise its Song of Kings, so that the cards can be played with more ease.

Design notes

With 6 allies to keep locations in the staging area under control, this deck focuses on multiplayer.

With low starting threat, the ents do have their time to be played and ready. There are too many good cards which fit, but I want not to exceed the 50 cards. So some cards which are not prio 1 are only two times in the deck. Also, side board does contain additional cards. I think, the deck/playstyle would benefit from those, but again the deck size is the limit.

Treebeard is a powerful ally and also allows to play ents as a "not-first card during the planing phase". This makes him so good in this deck that drawing him early is very advantageous. Because of the 50 cards-limit I included Treebeard only twice. At least Entmoot or Gather Information can fetch the card and with a bit of luck, Timely Aid can play Treebeard, too.

In the first version of the deck, @doomguard overlooked the fact that Hauberk of Mail can be attached to Derndingle Warrior, so I thought I point out that Hauberk of Mail is not restricted, therefore can be attached to Derndingle Warrior.

Starting hand

I'd probably would hard mulligan for Resourceful, but a start without is also not that bad. Timely Aid is a good card, also Entmoot or even Treebeard (cannot be played in the first round, though).

Sphere distribution

As you can only play one off-sphere per round, you should focus on playing one each round. Otherwise you would end up having only non-lore, non-neutral cards in your hand. I think, adding more off-sphere cards is not advisable.

Sideboard

I like to have some cards in the sideboard, just to know that I have dealt with them a little more intensively. Probably the only "real" card for the sideboard is Strider a a replacement for Song of Kings.

I tried Man the Walls to speed up the deck. But - even with Song of Kings - it somehow blocks playing allies. You cannot play another red or blue ally beforehand, because it says "the first ally" is reduced. Also, as Man the Walls is then your first card during the planing phase, you cannot play red or blue allies afterwards. So I decided against that card.

DĂșnedain Pipe allows to cycle through your cards, so you see cards you need right now faster, but with drawing 3 cards per round (plus Entmoot and Timely Aid) you draw your deck quite fast and I think DĂșnedain Pipe is not that much needed. Nevertheless a great card.

Spare Pipe would be another hit point for Derndingle Warrior and it thins the deck a bit, but with only 10 events and being off-sphere the pipe is not prio one here.

Out of the Wild and Ranger Summons both do modify the chances of the encounter deck, but - especially with the early quests and their huge encounter card count - these cards do shine if at all only late in game. I wish these cards were stronger. At least they don't really have an effect in this ent/locaction control deck.

Daeron's Runes to speed up the deck even more.

Depending on taste, Firyal, Haleth and Thalion are a good addition to this deck.
