This is my first published deck and my approach to the Noldor discarding mechanism. It tries to combine To the Sea, to the Sea! with some acceleration cards from the leadership sphere to get a fast start.

The key card of the deck is of course To the Sea, to the Sea! to get your Noldor allies into play. To increase the chances of getting it fast into play, I have added the Rivendell Minstrel, that can be play with some luck (Gaining Strength or Man the Walls) in round one and grabs To the Sea, to the Sea! from your deck.

Elrohir is the main defender, who can defend multiple times per round. The deck provides a lot of willpower and also reasonable attack, combined with a fast board setup.

Heroes

Arwen Undómiel’s ability is very useful and she grands the important spirit sphere. Erestor is unmatched with his crazy card draw. Not much more to say about those two great heroes.

Elrohir is a hero I have not often seen in such a setup, but I have grown very fond of him. First he enables access to leadership with a lot of useful cards and second his ability has proven to be very strong. The presence of Elladan and some attachments (Armored Destrier, Cloak of Lórien, Dúnedain Warning) transform him into a beast of defense (up to 6 ) and with some resources he can defend a bunch of enemies all by himself, so the rest of the team can quest and attack.

Allies

Elladan is another cornerstone: With 3 he is a nice addition to the offense and most importantly he grands Elrohir 2 . In most games he is in play after the first 2 or 3 rounds. A Rivendell Blade suits him well.

Glorfindel is an outstanding ally with great stats and the possibility to use him 2 or 3 times per round! With Rivendell Blade and Wild Stallion he is a great quester and attacker.

As a nice backup defender we have the Guardian of Rivendell, who can be played in the first round and is capable to stand his ground alone and even better combined with Cloak of Lórien and Wild Stallion. I have chosen the Wild Stallion instead of Raiment of War, as the horse is more versatile (can be attached to every ally), lest restricted (only 1 slot), can act as ally or attachment can be used with Man the Walls and A Very Good Tale.

Galdor of the Havens has been proven to be a very useful ally, as he lets you draw an additional card each round. Gildor Inglorion might be used to "save" a card from been discarded at the end of the round and can be used for almost any task.

The remaining allies are quiet solid: Elven Jeweler (can be played "for free"), Eregion Survivor (cheap and nice stats, as often you have no cards in your hand), Imladris Caregiver (healing), Lindir (some additional card draw) and Wandering Exile (action advantage).

Attachments

The Silver Harp acts like an extra card every round, Song of Travel goes to Erestor, as without I sometimes miss some spirit resources. Asfaloth and Steed of Imladris provide some location control. The Armored Destrier can be great for nasty enemies and provides an additional action.

Events

Elven-light provides a lot of card draw during the game, Elrond's Counsel is great without costs and Reforged enables the usage of Rivendell Blade or unwillingly discarded attachments.

The leadership events are amazing to get set your board very fast: You have a lot of resource advantage (Captain's Wisdom, Gaining Strength and Man the Walls) and with A Very Good Tale you get up to 2 allies for free into play. Especially Glorfindel is a great target to exhaust with his cost of 5 and the possibility to ready him after he told the tale. In the early game this event is very useful, later it ess useful.

Will of the West is used as backup to reshuffle the deck, but I don't use it that often. When you have most allies and attachments in play and run out of cards, you have Lords of the Eldar to boost every Noldor character again and again.

Sideboard

The sideboard provides some means for special situations. For nasty conditions you might add Elrond or Athelas.

In multiplayer Elven Mail or Dúnedain Signal are great for Elrohir and the Rivendell Bow for Glorfindel or Elladan.

For additional location control The Evening Star can be used and the Mariner's Compass combined with Lindon Navigator (who is for herself of course great for sailing quests).

Sailor of Lune and Warden of the Havens are solid allies and could be swapped with other allies.

Maybe add Sword-thain for Elladan.

Sword-thain is a nice card (maybe for best suited for Glorfindel to increase the effect of Asfaloth), but I am not sure if it is worth the cost of 4 in this deck. No other card with a cost higher than 0 could be played in the same round as Sword-thain and it would require 4 rounds to get back the cost.

Yeah now that I think about it, high-cost cards with Erestor aren't that good. But maybe add Legacy of Númenor for resource generation.

I would add another Elven-light, Unexpected Courage, and definitely Steward of Gondor, attach it to Elrohir.

Legacy of Númenor and especially Steward of Gondor would definitely be an improvement, but I wanted to keep the deck as thematic as possible.

An additional Elven-light might help sometimes, but often I have already 1 or 2 copies in my discard pile and not enough ressources to pay for more than 1 use.

Light of Valinor and Unexpected Courage also are nice, but I tried to include more allies and less attachments to improve the odds for A Very Good Tale.
